Cad Images Of Dental Burs

From an article by Claudia Mirrione

John Catalano, a native of Palermo is an electronic engineer, worked in Milan, he played in a rock band. This life hides, as well as the music, another underlying passion, that of poetry. Catalano is in fact an emerging young poet and has published with Flashes of print in 2009 his first collection, "Imagine the girl." "Imagine the girl" is a delicate contemporary songs that incorporates lyrical arranged in a pattern broken up into sections (Variations on the creation, the lens maker, names and cities, Nostos Hotel). It insinuates itself into the dominant female presence that stands out verse after verse as "hanging by invisible threads, tight clothes and forms, enlivens generating shadows. This woman, these women, from honey-colored hair, which become wet in fragrance "roots extracted from the earth, wrapped in the towel, or standing among the" blue silence "in Santorini, not only are there every day or sweet accompaniment to the trip, but also confirming the presence and absence therefore, subject and object of contemplation, interaction and reflection. The poet writes: " the number of women in this book, as there are images of bodies and how bodies. And somehow they are also absent. There is a chance that never existed and that there remains a chance. How as subjects and objects, with all that this may result in the era of mass exhibitionism and the commodification of the body. It Women's sometimes becomes the starting point and not only the place of a return . This substantial, though streaky, uniform issue is accompanied by a simple stylistic uniformity, which makes this book a light and elegant cameo in the landscape of poetry contemporary art. The making of poems is deployed on a compound and dry, the lines are short, periods well concluded, and the poet gives his compositions a rhythm softly melancholic, ruffled by gusts synesthetic and alliterative and enriched by a vocabulary, which, as Domenico Cipriano stresses in the afterword, the author's scientific experience fades, it is crossed by a variety of geometric shapes and imbued with scientific references as "the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics, or references to the paradox of socks (" I could tell you how many ") or Schrödinger's cat (" In Feltrinelli). This thematic and stylistic consistency, but falters in the face of the compositional structure of the individual poems irregular and uneven. After all, in fact, the figure has consistently and almost sphragìs , the compositions of Catalan , is a unique sliding abruptly by moments of sheer everyday epiphanies to ontological almost filled with a but the whole human mystical sacredness, and continuous bursts of neo-existentialist thought (and vice versa). The world we live is essentially the poet of coincidences and chance to taste Popper, gates that open space and time "suddenly" between verses (Coincidence) and which create parallel worlds, in which events would have happened , which could / wanted and instead is more successful. The Catalan has eyes that the real seems discontinuous in both descriptions and flow of thoughts in the creation of images. And if at times his lines sharp pictures in the clear light of beauty, but sometimes our eyes are opaque and cloudy for the use of distorting lenses that give rise to a reality out of focus. And so sometimes, like through the "glass knurled" of Magrelli (which, as the author says is essential to its reference model, with much of American poetry by Kenneth Koch of 900 to Stephen Dobyns), he takes only the erosion of bodies that are real beyond it, yet so uncertain and indefinable and indefinite boundaries.
